A little pricy. If you read all the comments the food is over rated. (5 stars no way)The building is cool and its clean.
nice cozy place. staff is friendly and even the bar area is nice. good prices for food & you get a good portion. my steak was burnt & sides were not the best. but for a small town it's an alright treat.
This is a great little family restaurant in Watrous. We had just spent a couple of hours at the mineral spa, and needed to grab a bite before heading back home. Huge menu, lots of classic favourites. We went in around 2:00PM or so on a Saturday, we still were able to order the lunch specials at that time. We tried a couple of steak sandwiches and they were excellent, cooked perfectly with big portions. For $13.99 + tax, can't be beat. Highly recommended if you're looking for solid home-cooked grub either before or after you hit the mineral spa.
We reserved as a large group (35). They dedicated two servers both of which were excellent. Both the service and the food we're great and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.
My wife and I have been at this restaurant several times. If you don't like crowds, a good time to go is around 1:30. You can still enjoy a cheaper lunch as their lunch menu is in effect until 3. The restaurant is consistently clean, and plays older style music, mostly 60's and 70's erase. It's the kind of music most people would enjoy. I ordered the steak sandwich and my wife ordered the lamb roast wrap, both off the surprisingly extensive lunch menu. Both meals were very good, with the steak sandwich costing around $13. So we had a very good lunch, without drinks, for around $28. The staff was very attentive and our food came within 10 minutes of ordering. This is a good mid-range family restaurant. I would highly recommend it as one of the two best restaurants in town.
